What does a robot have to do with human evolution? Plenty, apparently. This robot, called Robotic Action Painter (RAP), was created by Portuguese artist Leonel Moura. RAP can produce original and unique art, and is currently on display at the Hall of Human Origins to provide insight into whether humans are alone in their ability to produce art. RAP can create original paintings, but has no creative inspiration: is it still art? The question's open to debate.
