At left is a diagram of Cassini's route through the geysers. When the probe is in the geysers, scientists will focus on analyzing the water-ice, dust, and gas in the plume. Cameras will take images as the probe enters and leaves the plume.

Scientists do not believe the geyser will harm the rugged space probe. Cassini will be traveling at a rapid speed, and the particles it will encounter will be very small.
