On January 16, the tanker Jessica ran aground on the Galapagos Islands, ultimately leaking 200,000 gallons of oil into the famous wildlife-rich environment. The Gulf Strike Team assisted the Ecuadorian government with the cleanup. Here, boom is deployed just in front of the listing ship.
