Even the inside of this PC is green. Austin, Texas-based AMD was early to the game of making and marketing energy-efficient chips with embedded power management tools. AMD is certainly not alone--"green IT" has become one of the hottest topics in IT as corporations are being urged to take stock of rising electricity costs and the pollution linked to data centers.
Pictured here is AMD's Phenom, the code name for a PC that will be equipped with two quad-core processors.
