The gutter-cleaning iRobot Looj won a CES innovation award. The remote-control robot was first introduced in September at the Digital Life Show here in New York. The $99 robot fits into the gutter and essentially drills into the mess of leaves and gunk that collect there. Paddles fling the debris out of the way and brushes sweep up the remaining mess.
It looks like a nifty device. But honestly, I don't see this gadget making the top of too many holiday wish lists. Then again I could be wrong. I live in a Manhattan apartment and don't have any gutters to clean.
