European navigation device maker Navigon has just introduced its newest device, the Navigon 2100 for the U.S. market. Earlier this year, the company announced the Navigon 7100 and Navigon 5100. These portable GPS navigation systems offer subscription-free real-time traffic data, Zagat Survey ratings, and reviews for points of interest.

The Navigon 7100, which costs about $649, has integrated Bluetooth for hands-free calling and text-to-speech functionality. Meanwhile, the Navigon 5100 offers many of the same features minus the Bluetooth and goes for around $500. The Navigon 2100 is the more affordable model. For $249, the Navigon 2100 offers 3D maps on a 3.5 inch touch screen, text-to-speech that reads you street names while you drive, and speed warnings to let you know when you're driving over the speed limit. While it doesn't offer all the bells and whistles of the higher-end models, you can pay extra for some features. For $99 you can get the real-time traffic updates, and for another $39 you can get the Zagat reviews.

And for all those holiday shoppers out there, a company representative said the Navigon 2100 will be discounted to just under $200 on "Black Friday," the day after Thanksgiving.
