Trolling the CES booths

Taking a stroll around the Las Vegas Convention Center at CES 2008 reveals some cool and emerging technologies.

Haier showed off the Ibiza Rhapsody music player. It can play videos, show pictures, play stored music, and receive music streams from Rhapsody. You need to be near a Wi-Fi hot spot, though. You can also customize the user interface. It's Haier's first attempt to get into the U.S. market with a music player. Not familiar with Haier? It is China's largest appliance maker and it's pushing harder to get into the U.S. You might scoff, but Samsung was in the same boat 10 years ago.
