- [i]"Jobs said in an interview last year that the product was a "hobby" because nobody had figured out how to make Internet television a successful business. Apple TV plugs into a television and wirelessly pulls in video and music from a Mac or off the Internet. The device, which costs $300 to $400, has not proved popular."[/i] Err, isn't that called "belaboring the obvious"? the manufacturer's CEO said up-front that they only did it as basically a lark because there's no real market for the thing. So yeah, it stands to reason that it wouldn't sell so well. At least I'd give Apple credit for honesty up-front; if it were a product made by certain other companies, we'd be hearing in convoluted terms all about how allegedly popular it is, and there would be a sales channel stuffed to the gills somewhere to prove it. /P
