EMC debuts tools for SAN plans

Storage giant EMC released new online tools to help corporate customers build and manage storage area networks (SANs), large networks for storing institutional data. EMC's SAN Architect provides advice on designing and validating SANs while EMC AutoAdvice provides case histories and other historical information. The two tools are part of EMC's ControlCenter subscription service for storage software.
