Hewlett-Packard launched three new categories of entertainment notebooks on Wednesday that will be available in late spring with Starz Entertainment Group's Vongo video download software and Intel's new dual-core notebook chips.
The new Pavilion dv5000 and dv8000 series notebooks and the Compaq Presario V5000 series notebooks come with the Vongo software and a free one-month trial of the service. Vongo, launched at CES in January, works as both a monthly subscription service and a pay-per-view movie download site.
The new notebooks are also HP's second group of systems to feature Intel's Core Duo processors. Earlier this week, Dell also unveiled new systems using the chip, and Apple Computer announced plans to use the chips in new Mac Minis.

"...and Apple Computer announced plans to use the chips in new

But the first line of the linked article states:
"The new Mac Mini will be available, starting immediately, in two
models. "

How can we trust that the writers who are supposed to informed
us are themselves adequately informed if they evidently don't
read the articles written by their colleagues from the same
