Lexmark debuts new all-in-one printer

Printer maker Lexmark International on Wednesday introduced what it said is the first sub-$100 all-in-one inkjet printer to include a digital memory reader. The company also announced a laser printer it billed as the fastest model for under $200.

The Lexmark PrinTrio Photo P3150 combines the functions of a printer, scanner and copier and can print borderless 4-by-6-inch and 8.5-by-11-inch prints. The all-in-one printer is capable of reading several types of memory cards used by digital cameras including CompactFlash, SmartMedia, MemoryStick, Secure Digital and MultiMedia cards. Meanwhile, Lexmark said the monochrome Lexmark E220 laser printer can print the first page in under 10 seconds and can crank out 18 pages per minute.
