Short Take: Yahoo adds Web-based calendar service

Yahoo has added a Web-based calendar feature where users can schedule events and appointments. Yahoo Calendar is compatible with Microsoft Outlook and 3Com's PalmPilot in addition to being featured on the portal site. Technology for the service was provided by WebCal, which Yahoo recently acquired for an undisclosed amount.
