Short Take: iTixs shores up staff, funds

iTixs, a consumer Web start-up founded by former Netscape employees, has completed a $4 million round of private financing with 21st Century Internet Venture Partners and Angel Investors. As first reported by CNET News.com, iTixs launched this summer, part of a second generation of Web firms formed by veterans of older companies. iTixs also said Jennifer Bailey, former senior vice president at Netscape, will join iTixs' board.
