RealNetworks CFO resigns

Digital media company RealNetworks said Thursday that its chief financial officer, Brian Turner, has resigned for health reasons. Michael Eggers, the Seattle-based company's general manager of finance, will take over when Turner departs in June and until a replacement is found.

Turner, 43, joined RealNetworks in September 2001. "I've enjoyed my time here at RealNetworks and believe the company is well positioned to grow its business through consumer subscription services, its mobile initiative and the Helix platform," Turner said in a statement. Eggers, who previously worked at KPMG, joined RealNetworks in 1997.
