"Comes out of the box with a Trojan virus"
Pros: Its a good unit, but Acer has poor support, and their web site is not updated. Often impossible to find drivers, software updates, firmware for anything.
Vista has been improved from a year ago, faster, numeric keyboard on a small notebook is unique.Cons: This unit comes with bloatware, such as Acer Gamezone (Oberon Media) that has a Trojan Horse - Trojan.Zlob.
Acer needs better QA and testing before shipping.

Pros: Price. You cannot beat the price with the features provided.
Size. Small enough to be portable, but powerful enough to handle everyday computing needs.
Ease of use. Setup was breeze. Vista runs fine on this machine.Cons: Weird size for a computer screen. With the 16:9 ratio you get less square inches than a 15.4 inch at a 16:10 ratio, and it looks a bit squat. Extra scrolling needed to view web pages or documents as compared to mainstream laptops.

"Outstanding Price to Performance with Vista Premium"
Pros: Lots of goodies and superb performance, battery life, DL-HD R/W DVD, quiet operation, Vista Home Premium, b/g/n Wi-Fi, decent form factor, display aspect ratio
Cons: Undesired OEM software (but not much and what ready to go PC doesn't have it?), display suffers a little when viewed from the periphery, no firewire, no backlighting for the keyboard

"Price per performance. no better deal."
Pros: Pentium Dual-core processor, 2gb of memory, 160gb hard drive (more than enough for anyone who just uses it for music or doing anything business related). Battery life is almost 3 hours. DVD burning, video converting
