Retrevo, a search service for electronics, said Thursday that it's raised $8 million in a second round of funding led by Alloy Ventures and Norwest Venture Partners, both original investors in the company. Since its launch in July, the company has raised more than $11 million in total.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company helps shoppers find product information, reviews, and lowest-price data on a range of electronics. It does this by aggregating information on those products from sites across the Web. Retrevo plans to use the money for marketing and product development.
